Documentary of the Moravskoberounsko Microregion
Documentary
The Association of Municipalities of the Moravskoberounsko Microregion approached us to create a set of representative audiovisual materials to commemorate the anniversary of the microregion's founding. The goal was to produce not only a documentary capturing its history, present day, and unique character, but also a shorter promotional film that could serve as a long-term marketing tool for the entire region.
Our mission was to showcase not only the beauty of the local landscape, but above all the atmosphere of the individual municipalities, their diversity, and the many reasons why the Moravskoberounsko Microregion is a great place to live, visit, and spend leisure time.

Two Videos, One Shared Story
For this project, we produced two separate audiovisual outputs.
The primary deliverable was an 11-minute documentary that presents the history, present, and future of the microregion through carefully selected visuals, professional voice-over narration, and a cinematic musical score. The documentary connects the individual municipalities into one cohesive story, highlighting their shared values while showcasing the unique character of each community.
The second deliverable was a 3-minute promotional film focused on dynamic visuals of the region's landscapes, architecture, and everyday life. Each municipality and local district is introduced with elegant on-screen titles, giving the video a modern and polished look that makes it ideal for presentations, promotional events, and social media.
Filming Across the Seasons
One of the biggest challenges was planning the production to showcase the microregion at its very best. Rather than capturing it in a single season, we wanted to highlight how the landscape transforms throughout the year.
Filming took place over four production days across three different seasons—autumn, winter, and spring. This approach allowed us to capture authentic footage of the region under a variety of natural conditions, lighting, and atmospheres.
From a production standpoint, the project required careful coordination. With multiple municipalities and local districts spread across the microregion, every filming day had to be planned around weather conditions, travel logistics, and maintaining a consistent visual style throughout both videos.
To create a visually engaging result, we combined cinematic ground footage with aerial drone shots, showcasing not only the landmarks of each municipality but also the surrounding countryside, cultural heritage, and everyday life from unique perspectives.
A Lasting Showcase of the Region
Both videos premiered as part of the anniversary celebrations of the Moravskoberounsko Microregion and continue to serve as representative promotional materials for cultural events, public presentations, and tourism promotion.
While the documentary offers a deeper insight into the history and identity of the microregion, the shorter promotional film provides a dynamic visual showcase that can be used for presentations, social media, and the long-term promotion of the region.
This project demonstrates how high-quality audiovisual storytelling can unite multiple municipalities into one compelling narrative and create lasting promotional content that will represent the microregion for years to come.
